As the Copywriter and Content Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for creating compelling, on-brand copy across multiple clients with varying brand voices, digital channels, and formats while managing the tactical execution of content operations. You will produce everything from engaging social media posts to comprehensive whitepapers, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and quality across all client touchpoints. This role combines strategic copywriting with tactical content execution and operational support.

We are currently only hiring in East and Central Timezones. Applicants located in South Florida will have priority but it is not required.

Duties and Responsibilities This is a simplified list of your day-to-day tasks, but this overview should provide a clear understanding of the role's scope.

Content Creation and Copywriting

Write and edit organic social media posts

Develop ad copy for multiple formats, including social media ads, traditional banner ads, digital OOH (out-of-home) ads, CTV (connected TV) ads, and more

Produce long-form blog content (1,000-2,500 words) that aligns with SEO strategies and brand voice

Write comprehensive whitepapers (3,000-5,000 words) for clients requiring in-depth, research-driven content

Create compelling website copy, landing page copy, SMS messages, subject lines, preview text, and email copy that drives conversions

Draft media pitches for PR initiatives, internal pick decks, and client campaigns (note that this is not required, but a nice-to-have; will train)

Conduct research to support content development and ensure accuracy across all deliverables

Write content briefs for whitepapers and blogs

Maintain brand voice consistency across all content types and client accounts

Proofread and edit work to ensure high editorial standards and error-free delivery

Content Operations and Tactical Execution

Upload content to social media scheduling tools (e.g., Cloud Campaign, Sprout Social, HubSpot - training provided)

Prep blog posts by sourcing and adding appropriate stock imagery

Utilize AI tools to create, optimize, and accelerate copy creation while maintaining quality standards

Generate AI images to support content needs (training provided) Upload and publish blogs to WordPress (training provided)

Maintain organized file systems and content libraries

Track project timelines and communicate progress to team leads

Content creator recruitment and management of content creator programs, both in platform and through content creator platforms (sourcing and working with content creators is a plus, but not required)

Skills and Abilities

Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats and tones

Versatility in writing style with the ability to write across formats from long-form content to short-form social and ad copy

Brand voice expertise with the ability to maintain consistency across all client communications

Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills

Strong research capabilities for finding accurate information to support content development

Time management skills for juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment

SEO knowledge, including an understanding of keyword optimization and SEO best practices

Technical proficiency and comfort learning new tools and platforms; willingness to embrace AI-assisted copywriting and image generation with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Canva, etc.

In-platform experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, X, TikTok content deployment (e.g., posts, stories, highlights, etc.), community management, and growth (Threads and Reddit experience all pluses but not required)

Collaboration skills to work well with cross-functional teams and accept constructive feedback positively

Adaptability with flexibility in approach and ability to pivot when priorities shift

Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems independently

2-4 years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment

Experience with WordPress a plus (training provided)

Portfolio demonstrating diverse writing samples across multiple formats

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000
