Overview
After Hours Registered Nurse / RN, Hospice in North Miami. Full‑time position with no remote option. Salary $75,000–$79,000 plus mileage. Schedule: one week on/one week off – Friday 5 pm to next Friday 8 am; weekdays 5 pm to next day 8 am; weekends Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am.

Qualifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state (associate degree preferred). CPR certification recommended (required for direct patient care in Georgia).
Prior experience in hospice or home health, medical–surgical, or population‑specific nursing such as geriatrics or pediatrics.
Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation and maintain reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and state‑required liability auto insurance.
Strong communication and organization; proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems; ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Physical capability: lifting patients over 200 lbs with assistance, transporting supplies up to 20 lbs for distances of 500 ft, frequent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, and reaching.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the Interdisciplinary Group to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation; communicate with the care team to coordinate optimal use of resources, especially in complex or high‑risk situations.
Provide education and emotional support to patients and caregivers; actively participate in on‑call rotations, admissions, and care transitions as directed.
If a Care Manager: coordinate all aspects of patient care including scheduling, medication management, plan of care oversight; supervise LPNs, LVNs, and Hospice Aides; participate in IDG meetings and patient/family conferences.
If in an On‑Call capacity: respond to triage calls, perform visits and assessments, coordinate care with the Administrator On Call, and attend IDG meetings and family conferences; participate in training, committees, and other duties as assigned within licensure scope.
