Westlake Golf & CC is at the heart of the community and is an Arthur Hills custom‑designed championship 6,500 yard, par 71, 18 hole Golf course. With water on sixteen of the eighteen holes, the golf course is not only aesthetically pleasing but provides challenging shots at every turn. Seven different tee box options to accommodate all different golfing ability levels. Westlake Golf & Country Club includes a full‑service Pro Shop, practice putting green the 18‑hole championship course is open mid‑March through December. Westlake Golf & CC is open to Resident members, limited outside members, and prepaid round packages. The club and community are located in Jackson, NJ.
Experience Required Looking for a PGA or LPGA Professional with a minimum of 1-2 years as a Head Golf Professional or experienced A-8 Assistant Golf Professionals. Strong Teacher and Player a plus. Strong leadership skills, and will lead all operational, financial, and guest‑service responsibilities on a daily basis. Business minded individual working with budgets, vendors, policies and procedures all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Responsibilities
League and Tournament management; plan, organize, and administer all club and outside events
Hands on Golf Genius software management
Knowledge of golf related technology (POS, tee sheet software, Handicap, etc)
Individual and group instruction for golfers of all skill levels
Manage outside operations team
Manage Golf Shop Staff
Build and foster relationships within the community and membership through programming and visibility at events
Attend Monthly Golf Committee Meetings
Presenting a safe and clean working environment
Merchandsing a full‑service golf shop including buying, displaying, and inventory control
Create an enthusiastic and upbeat culture with team members and members
Work creatively and cooperatively within all aspets of the golf operation
Scheduling, staffing, training and evaluating staff
Play golf with members
Work closely with the Spirit Golf Mgt. team
