American Window and Glass is seeking a dedicated, technically skilled, and highly motivated

Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician

to join our team in Evansville, IN.

Qualifications:

Experience:

2-3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, or robotics) related to equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.

Fabrication Skills:

Strong abilities in creating or modifying parts.

Welding Proficiency:

Experience in stick welding for repairs and modifications.

Mechanical Background:

Solid experience as an industrial mechanic, particularly with motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.

Maintenance Knowledge:

Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing machinery.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential maintenance issues.

Fabricate and install parts as needed.

Execute stick welding for repairs and modifications.

Assist with industrial mechanic duties, such as repairing motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.

Carry out general maintenance tasks, including lubricating machinery and replacing filters.

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve maintenance challenges.

Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems.

Complete maintenance work orders and machine modifications promptly.

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.

Document work performed through written and electronic methods.

Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding.

Read and interpret blueprints.

Essential Job Functions:

This job requires a full range of hand motions including the ability to push, pull, squeeze, and grip.

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

Ability to walk and stand on concrete for 8+ hr shifts

Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach above head for prolonged periods of time

Ability to effectively communicate in English including both verbal and written communication
