Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Carpenter / Skilled Laborer to join our commercial and residential construction team. This position is ideal for someone with carpentry experience and a broad skill set across multiple trades. Work includes new construction, renovations, and repairs on both residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish carpentry work
Assist with and perform tasks across multiple trades, including drywall, painting, flooring, concrete, and minor electrical or plumbing (as permitted)
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Frame walls, floors, and roofs
Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and hardware
Demolition, site prep, and material handling
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Work with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
Experience in carpentry and general construction
Ability to work across multiple trades with minimal supervision
Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods
Basic understanding of building codes and job site safety
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
Preferred (but not required)
Experience in both commercial and residential construction
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Ability to lead helpers or apprentices
