School Social Worker

This position involves responsibility for providing professional social work services to students and their families in school to aid them in buildingsocial and emotional skills. An employee in this position may serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team involving administrators, guidance counselors, the school nurse, youth counselors, school psychologist and teachers. The Social Worker functions within specific guidelines and under the supervision of the District Administration. Does related work as required.
