Service Desk & End User Support Technician Location:
Jacksonville, FL , onsite. Work hours will not be consistent but will not cross 8 hours in a day. This role has 2 shifts, rotating between 7am ET to 7pm ET. Ideal candidate must have flexibility.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide business user/desktop/laptop support
Provide help line and service desk support
Attend calls on service desk hotline
Resolve desktop hardware and software issues of client users
Perform desktop setup/removals (take computers from storage, image and install at the client user desk)
Walk to client user's desk if required, to resolve the issues
Make sure that the room with hardware inventory is neat and clean
Perform desktop moves when users move from one place to another
Perform Vendor/OEM coordination
Take inbound phone calls from client users
Perform asset inventory
Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Changes)
Image new and reimage old equipment
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3 to 4+ years of high-level customer service experience and technical background
Previous experience in Help Desk / Service Desk support
Vendor Management experience
CompTIA A+ preferred but not required
Experienced with Windows 10/11, MAC OS and Citrix
Must have clear communication and be a self-starter
Wage Range The rate for this position is between
$20.25 - $29.70 per hour . Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
