Position Summary Oversees and coordinates Crisis Center and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program operations and staff. Provides supervision, support, and guidance to ensure high-quality clinical services. Monitors and evaluates staff performance, delivering feedback and coaching while ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards. Assists in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures, and provides training and continuing education opportunities for staff.

Responsibilities

Act as a clinical resource for the team in daily problem solving within scope of license, registration, or certification.

Ensure appropriate patient assessment and treatment.

Coordinate care and education for patients.

Provide procedural oversight, if applicable.

Perform clinical responsibilities within scope of license, registration or certification as assigned.

Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement projects identified.

Establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations.

Participate in regulatory compliance training and activities.

Ensure compliance with established regulations and standards including quality improvement, quality assurance, confidentiality and EHR documentation.

Review and evaluate the work and performance of subordinates.

Authorize personnel actions and oversee most day‑to‑day operations of the team.

Coordinate staff education, training, standards compliance and performance evaluations.

Be responsible for adherence to budget.

Lead and direct the work of others.

Apply creativity and latitude as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Remain familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance, an essential job function.

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in social work or related field.

Idaho licensed LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.

Required licensure and/or certification as per the State of Idaho.

Minimum 3 years of experience as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.

Demonstrated leadership skills and/or experience.

Previous hospital‑based experience preferred.

Ability to provide licensure supervision for LCSW candidates.

Demonstrated competence in psychosocial assessments, discharge planning and crisis intervention.

Knowledge and experience with DSM‑5 and application in mental health assessments, crisis management, conflict resolution, and stress management.

Experience in casework methods, supervision, and training.

Working Conditions

Must be able to lift and move up to 35 lbs.

Exposure to violent and unpredictable individuals.

Typical equipment used in a clinical job.

Repetitive movements.
