Schedule/Shift/Hours Part Time - Days - 12 Hour Shifts

Hospital Supervisor Position Summary Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management.

Responsibilities Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise

Responsible to be a clinical and service resource, to ensure appropriate patient placement, supervise clinical activities, maintain disaster training skills, and coordinate safe and appropriate patient care between all departments and disciplines

Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities

Performs other related duties as assigned

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications BSN or relevant Bachelor’s degree required

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho

Minimum 3 years’ acute care experience required

Minimum of 1-year charge nurse or relevant leadership experience required

BLS required

Crisis prevention training, or must acquire within 6 months of employment, required

Working Conditions Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs

Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position

Typical equipment used in a clinical job

Must be able to push, pull or transport heavy equipment
