Reverse Engineer III Fort Meade, MD

We’re seeking a Reverse Engineer III to support our U.S. Government program(s). The Reverse Engineer III will be responsible for malware reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call‑backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.

Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree is desired. An additional two years of experience can substitute the degree.

Experience:

Eight years of experience as a Reverse Engineer.

Other:

An active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate Polygraph (Poly).

Must be a motivated self‑starter with excellent time‑management skills.

Must be detail oriented.

Must be an excellent communicator – verbal & written.

Must be able to work with team members and individually.

Must be able to connect with individuals of varying backgrounds.

Salary Range $140,000.00 – 200,000.00 USD / year

Salary Description The pay range for this job, with multi‑levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
