Plant Scheduler Position We are currently accepting applications for a

Plant Scheduler

in our new, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in

Milton, WI , conveniently located north of Janesville. This is a full‑time, salaried position, working first shift Monday‑Friday. Weekend work and after‑hours calls are to be expected.

JOB SUMMARY To monitor and coordinate updates to and execution against the production schedule and peripheral activities within a near term window, toward optimizing execution against Corporate Scheduler plan and customer order demands. Maintain physical inventory accuracy for all materials and finished goods for Rock County campus. Provide support and backup to Corporate Scheduler as needed. This role requires a high degree of flexibility to best support our customers’ needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES3> include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Utilize available tools (ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Plant Control System (PCS), business reporting, etc.) to determine scheduling decisions and priorities to keep facilities running smoothly

Work with Supply Chain team and plant supervision/management to resolve potential challenges in upcoming production schedule

Work with necessary departments (customer service, logistics) as needed to communicate issues impacting customer order fulfillment

Manage the order release (ERP & WMS), order updates, and close processes for timely and accurate execution

Coordinate with engineering on capital project execution

Monitor and coordinate peripheral activities (bulk tank availability, internal product transfers, liquor and stearin melting, remelt, equipment sanitation, etc.) toward ensuring timely execution against production schedule

Confirm production quantities and investigate orders outside of acceptable tolerance

Champion cycle count execution toward maintaining physical inventory accuracy. Monitor ingredient availability and accuracy to ensure timely completion of orders

Manage effective use of remelt and QA dispositioned items

Provide backup to Corporate Scheduler as needed

Perform all tasks assigned by the Manager, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures

Maintain regular attendance at work

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in production scheduling or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work in a continuous operation (24/7) with flexible availability for after-hours calls.

Must have a driver’s license.

Preferred:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience with ERP systems, WMS, and PCS.

Familiarity with inventory control and sanitation scheduling.

Experience writing Macros would be helpful.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar supply chain certification.
