We have provided service to hospitals, universities, major retailers, healthcare facilities, and restaurants across Western NY since 2004, and we are expanding consistently.
Important note: We service commercial equipment only. We do not work on residential appliances, and we do not sell equipment. Position Summary The
Customer Service Associate
is often the first point of contact for our customers. This role focuses on inbound and outbound calls, gathering accurate service information, entering data into systems and online portals, and supporting scheduling coordination alongside our Dispatch Manager.
Job Duties
Communicate with customers via inbound and outbound calls to answer questions, provide service call information, and help resolve issues in line with the company's customer service policies.
Accurately enter customer and service information into internal systems and online portals.
Document call details clearly, including symptoms, site, and contact information, and any relevant notes needed for dispatch and service follow-up.
Collaborate closely with the Dispatch Manager to maintain appropriate lead times for service calls.
Support scheduling coordination for urgent and emergency service calls when needed.
Serve as a liaison with dealers and online portals to obtain service call updates, clarify information, and help drive resolution.
Provide light administrative support as needed, including email follow-ups and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required (associate degree in a business-related field preferred).
Must have reliable transportation. This is a fully in office position.
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.
High comfort level with a multi-line phone system and transferring callers to the appropriate team member.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience at a service company is a bonus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Team-oriented with a positive, customer-centric approach.
Able to manage multiple tasks across phone and email in a fast-paced office setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
