Nosco is looking for a Carton Folder Gluer Operator on Second shift at our Bridgeview, IL facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will operate our carton folding/gluing asset in order to perform the final step of folding carton production. The purpose of this position is to produce folding cartons in order to meet on time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance to all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
In this Role, You Will
Set up and operate a folder/gluer per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing and effectively communicating with customer fulfillment technicians).
Perform clean‑up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
Ability to perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
Success Factors
Preferably +2 years of carton folder/gluer experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Work in a fast‑pace environment with the ability to deal with change.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read a ruler to ¼ inch.
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$22.00 – $27.00 . This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base offer will depend on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
