Job Overview
Manufacturing company located in the Las Vegas area is currently seeking skilled Maintenance Techs. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in maintenance and repair of various facility components and systems within manufacturing. Duties and Responsibilities
Actively troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility components and systems. Operate, troubleshoot, and repair automated packaging machinery. Understand and repair pump systems. Apply knowledge of pneumatic principles to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Apply hydraulic principles to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics. Safely work with low and high voltage circuits. Diagnose and repair electric motors, motor controls, and device controls. Troubleshoot and repair electrical control and power circuits. Repair electrically controlled equipment, including PLC-controlled and solid-state equipment. Perform welding (gas and arc) and soldering tasks. Maintain facility and manufacturing support systems, including steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration systems. Perform basic plumbing and carpentry tasks. Identify and order parts and materials using manufacturers’ manuals and prints. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ensure compliance with corporate standards and systems for food safety, quality, and facility cleanliness. Requirements
Must have at least 5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing various machinery and systems. Strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic principles. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Experience working with low and high voltage circuits. Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electric motors and control systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled and solid-state equipment. Welding and soldering skills. Basic knowledge of facility support systems. Basic plumbing and carpentry skills. Ability to identify and order necessary parts and materials. Strong communication skills. Must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift.
