Job Title
San Antonio 19 Grocery – Overnight Stocker – Part-Time at H-E-B
Schedule Overnight , including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilites
Stock and reorganize shelves, refill displays, and load/unload heavy products.
Apply product knowledge, keeping rotation dates, shelf labels, and other details accurate to achieve A+ Standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of departments, including back rooms and storage areas.
Follow SOPs and leadership direction, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulations.
Work efficiently as a team, meet productivity standards, and respond positively to constructive feedback.
Coach and train other stockers when needed.
Provide customer service—assist shoppers in locating items, answering questions, and upholding a hospitality mindset across departments.
Adhere to safety protocols, including emergency procedures, and respect personal lifting limits.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 and meet all legal employment requirements.
Prior stocking and/or customer‑service experience preferred.
Experience in physically demanding work is a plus.
Forklift or power jack training will be provided upon hire.
Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills.
Strong organization and time‑management abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs (varies by department) and perform repetitive, heavy‑lifting tasks.
Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High energy, stamina, and a sense of urgency.
Team‑player mindset, focused on building a positive workplace culture.
Physical Demands
Frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach at waist, shoulder, or overhead.
Occasionally lift up to 66–100 lbs depending on department.
Potential exposure to cold, loud noise, variable temperatures, and wet conditions.
Work endurance required beyond 5.5 continuous hours during shifts.
