Job Summary The Food Service Clerk will perform and coordinate the various administrative requirements of the food service department at Palolo Chinese Home. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities.

Pay Range $19.00 - $21.00 per hour - based on experience and skillset

Qualification Requirements

High School diploma or general education equivalent

Minimum 1 year of experience in the Food Service Industry

Valid driver's license and clear drivers abstract

Basic knowledge of inventory control and purchasing management

Proficiency in proper food handling techniques and sanitation

Ability to work with kitchen production equipment

Understanding of kitchen safety practices

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and push/pull at least 75 lbs.

Proficient in English language for effective communication

Basic understanding of LTC clinical nutrition

Proficiency in using computer software like Excel, Word, and Email

Demonstrated high standards of customer service

Responsibilities

Prepare daily meal tray tickets and production sheets

Identify and resolve meal issues promptly

Input resident information and food preferences accurately

Submit supply orders to vendors weekly

Assist with inventory management and rotation

Answer department inquiries and assist with meal deliveriesSupport departmental activities as needed
