Job Summary and Responsibilities Mercy Radiology Group , a radiology group based in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to its IR service.
Highlights include:
Candidate will join team of 9 IR doctors and 2 APP's in a group of 80+ radiologists
IR experience is preferable, although potentially evolving position with room to grow and expand skillset
Team‑based approach with patient‑centered care
Procedures to include paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, port and tunneled catheter placement/removal, gastrostomy tube changes (must be able to demonstrate completing a minimum number of 5 each within the past 2 years for credentialing)
Rounding on patients and inputting orders
Time spent in both hospital and clinic settings
Possible occasional 1/2 day Saturday coverage
Friendly and supportive colleagues
Compensation package includes:
Competitive compensation and excellent benefits package including full health insurance, CME stipend, malpractice insurance and retirement plan
Job Requirements
A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
Completion of state mandated educational courses
