Job Summary and Responsibilities
Mercy Radiology Group, a radiology group based in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to its IR service.
Highlights include:
Candidate will join team of 9 IR doctors and 2 APPs in a group of 80+ radiologists
IR experience is preferable, although potentially evolving position with room to grow and expand skillset
Team-based approach with patient centered care
Procedures to include paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, port and tunneled catheter placement/removal, gastrostomy tube changes (must be able to demonstrate completing a minimum number of 5 each within the past 2 years for credentialing)
Rounding on patients and inputting orders
Time spent in both hospital and clinic settings
Possible occasional ½ day Saturday coverage
Friendly and supportive colleagues
Compensation package includes:

Job Requirements
A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
Completion of state mandated educational courses
