Job Summary The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient, and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services. The BHC completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program. The BHC documents provided services and coordinates discharges from CBI programs. The BHC coordinates care with the family or other significant others.

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health. Master’s Degree is preferred but not required. Preference given to Master’s Degree in field related to behavioral health and/or licensure at the associate level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor.

1‑3 years of full‑time Health Care related work experience where prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations. Preferred but not required.
