What We Are Seeking
Bachelor’s Degree (Strongly preferred)
2-3 years experience working with diverse student populations (Strongly preferred)
Licensed or on track for licensure (Minimum sub license)
Strong understanding of restorative practices
Strong knowledge of restorative practices
Knowledge of No-Nonsense Nurturer and/or 4-Step Model for student behavior management helpful, but not required
Ability and willingness to work collaboratively, maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships
Ability to proactively build meaningful, positive relationships with all students
Eagerness and ability to receive and implement feedback from manager, coach, and/or peers
Ability to be punctual and have a strong attendance record
What This Role Will Accomplish
Manage school culture, leading students, staff, and guardians to the desired cultural outcome
Capture school culture data; work with AP of Culture to translate data into action items
Support staff and student interventions, mediating then restoring relationships
Utilize Data management tools, organizational tools, and computer skills (Google Suite: Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Forms, Etc.)
Take necessary action when receiving feedback from the Assistant Principal of School Culture and Principal
Collaborate and work successfully within the Student Response Team
Provide support for teachers whose data has shown undesired trends regarding classroom culture
Maintain a clean and safe educational environment
Maintain VCP equipment to remain in working order; Chromebooks, textbooks, pencils, pens, etc. that belong to the school should be returned to their proper place at the end of each class period, when necessary
Differentiate lessons for individual students based on their unique learning needs
Manage tier 1 and tier 2 discipline issues
Manage re-entry plans and parent/guardian meetings
