Position Overview We seek a detail-oriented Administrative and Special Projects Assistant to support our president's initiatives and office operations. This role combines fundraising support, operational management, and financial assistance. The position is initially for a 4-month period, with the potential for extension and additional hours based on organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities Development & Membership Support

Maintain and update donor database with accurate contact information

Research potential donors and analyze giving patterns

Prepare meeting materials and follow-up communications

Record and deposit incoming physical checks

Office Management

Track office supply inventory and place orders when needed

Liaison with building management, IT when needed

Document & Data Support

Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

Perform systematic database cleaning, including validating and organizing CRM and Mailchimp contact list and manage ongoing data maintenance

Requirements

2+ years administrative experience

Proficiency in database management, Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience with donor management systems preferred

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Schedule & Location

Part-time position: 8 hours per week

Required presence in NYC office weekly

Flexible scheduling around core business hours

Compensation: Hourly rate ranges from $25 to $32 commensurate with experience.
