Job Overview
Customer Service Specialist at Walgreens (Tucson, AZ). Full‑time position with hourly pay $15.45 to $17.50. This role provides a friendly, efficient, and distinctive customer experience at the store frontline. The position remains open until filled.
Base Pay Range $15.45/hr - $17.50/hr
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the cash register, including handling sales, returns, refunds, voids, and rain checks.
Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items.
Maintain counters, shelves, and the overall store presentation; keep inventory accurate and conduct periodic stock rotations.
Perform merchandising tasks, including constructing displays and completing resets and revisions.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws for regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco).
Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
Assist with photo and online pickup services, and perform exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store neat and orderly.
Follow all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Assist with additional assignments and tasks as directed.
Training & Development
Attend training sessions and complete required Personal Performance Levels (PPLs) as requested by the manager or corporate.
Basic Qualifications
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prior work experience with Walgreens.
Fluency in English (as above).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
