Pay range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour + DEQ plus $8.00 per billed hour commission.

Responsibilities
Perform PM inspection on trailers
Grease trucks and trailers
Conduct tire services
Repair electrical, brake, wheel end/seal components
Perform all minor repairs
Carry out trailer body work: replacing panels, posts, cross rails, side rails, roof sections
Complete complex welding: aluminum rail repair, bushing welding, brake chamber brackets
Perform CSA/DOT inspections according to regulations
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the mobile maintenance vehicle
Ensure all tools and equipment are functional, cleaned, and repaired when needed
Sell tires and parts, maintaining profit margins and trade guidelines
Store parts, tires, etc., properly
Complete work orders with detailed customer, labor, parts, warranty info and photos
Ensure total customer satisfaction and integrity of Boss Truck Shops
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Stay current on LMS training
Provide friendly and competent customer service
Report for work on schedule in a timely manner

Education and Experience
At least 2 years of diesel technician experience
Tire Service Certified by TIA
DOT Medical Card
Successful completion of Boss Truck Shops Tech I and II training programs
Complete OSHA Skills Demonstration
Ability to attend HVAC, Electrical, and DOT training
Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, TIA, and other certifications
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver's license and insurable to drive
Skilled in welding
Able to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed
Reliable transportation and phone
English communication skills (if applicable)
Willingness to provide friendly, courteous customer service
Willingness to work cooperatively with team members
Physical Requirements The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. In addition, the job requires frequent standing, walking, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling objects, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, occasionally sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
