Mobile Maintenance Technician
Boss Truck Shops Inc., a leading provider of mobile maintenance services, is looking for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Technician to maintain our fleet and provide on‑site repair services. This role is ideal for both new diesel technicians and seasoned industry professionals.
Pay Range Base pay: $22.00/hr - $32.00/hr, plus $8.00 per billed hour commission. DEQ credit is included.

Responsibilities
Perform trailer preventative maintenance (PMs), DOT inspections, and repairs.
Conduct tire services, greases trucks/trailers, and performs minor repairs.
Repair electrical, brake, wheel end, and seal components.
Complete trailer body work including panels, posts, cross rails, side rails, and roof sections.
Use complex welding techniques for rail section repairs and brake chamber brackets.
Perform CSA/DOT inspections according to regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mobile maintenance vehicle.
Ensure all tools and equipment are in working order.
Sell tires and parts while maintaining profit margins and adhering to trade guidelines.
Manage parts inventory and complete work orders with necessary customer information and warranty details.
Provide friendly and competent customer service.
Report work status in a timely manner when scheduled.
Practice and adhere to company safety policies.
Keep LMS training up to date.
Additional Job Duties
Assist in other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities None.
Qualifications Education and/or Experience:
At least two (2) years of diesel technician experience.
Must be Tire Service Certified by TIA.
Must have a DOT Medical Card.
Successful completion of Boss Truck Shops Tech I and II training program.
Complete OSHA Skills Demonstration.
Ability to attend HVAC, electrical, and DOT training.
Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, TIA, and other certifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and insurance coverage.
Skilled in welding.
Available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
Reliable transportation and phone.
Ability to communicate in English (if applicable).
Deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
Work cooperatively with other team members.
Physical Requirements The physical demands of this job include:
Occasional lifting or moving up to 75 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing.
Occasional sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
