Job Description: As a Swiss/Bar Feed Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Swiss-style CNC machines and bar feeders to produce high-quality precision parts. Your main duties will include:
Loading and unloading bar stock into the bar feeder and monitoring the machine to ensure proper operation
Making adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and meet production targets
Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and making any necessary adjustments
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during production
Adhering to all safety and quality standards and following company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines
Experience with bar feeders is preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
