Due to the retirement of one of our partners Alma Medical Centre (AMC) are looking to employ a salaried GP with view to partnership if desired. The practice is well-established with a list size of 11,000 patients and good CQC rating. We currently have 5 clinical partners, 2 salaried GPs and an ANP along with a committed practice manager who also acts as a non-clinical partner.
What we can offer
A mix of 10 and 15 minute appointments, 14 patients in the morning and 12 in the afternoon.
Minimal visits
Teaching opportunities
Supportive admin team and dedicated prescriptions division.
6 weeks annual leave with an additional 1-week study leave pro rata.
Induction with ongoing supportive mentorship programme.
Flexible hours (when not on call).
Regular in-house education.
Duties would include 1 duty day a week and a share of admin work.
AMC is part of North Stockton PCN with 2 local practices. This brings a wider team of first contact physiotherapists, mental health support workers, health and wellbeing officers and social prescribers.
We are a training practice of both GP registrars and medical students from Sunderland and Newcastle.
