Position Highlights The Specialist in Poison Information will be responsible for answering calls regarding overdoses, envenomations, and toxic exposures from hospital personnel and the general public. This position will work closely with hospital personnel to provide life-saving information for patient management. Drug information, infectious disease, and other medical based calls will also be answered.

Duties & Responsibilities
Answering poisoning and drug information calls.
Documenting all calls into Electronic Health Record and performing Quality Assurance.
Performing outreach and educational activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong clinical knowledge related to pharmacy.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to perform well in stressful situations.
Minimum Qualifications
PharmD degree.
Active AZ pharmacy license.

Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures. Paper copies of the Reports can be obtained by contacting the University Compliance Office at cleryact@arizona.edu.
