High School Principal Position Start Date: June 1st, 2026

Position Summary The High School Principal serves as the chief administrator of the high school division and is responsible for leading all aspects of its academic, operational, and cultural life. This role provides visionary, mission-aligned leadership that promotes academic excellence, fosters a safe and nurturing learning environment, and ensures the effective management of faculty, students, and programs. The principal works collaboratively with school leadership to support the school’s mission, uphold its standards, and ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies.

Key Responsibilities Instructional Leadership

Serve as the curriculum leader for the high school, overseeing and guiding curriculum development and implementation.

Assess teaching methods and support instructional improvement across all subject areas.

Promote academic excellence through high expectations, continuous improvement initiatives, and datadriven decision-making.

Monitor student achievement and use data to inform instructional practices and interventions.

Review, recommend, and implement school policies that support strong teaching and learning.

Serve as the AP Coordinator, ensuring alignment with College Board requirements, supporting teachers, and overseeing exam administration.

Faculty & Staff Leadership

Interview, select, and onboard high school personnel.

Provide supervision, coaching, and evaluation of teachers and support staff.

Monitor and report on teacher performance, offering constructive feedback and professional development opportunities.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and mission-aligned faculty culture.

Oversee staff management, team building, and ongoing professional growth.

Student Support and School Culture

Maintain and uphold disciplinary policies that are fair, consistent, and supportive of student growth.

Oversee student discipline and welfare, ensuring a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. Ensure strong student services and support systems, including academic counseling, emotional and behavioral support, and spiritual guidance (if applicable).

Organize school events, assemblies, and student recognition programs that reinforce school values and culture.

Engage with students and parents regularly to build relationships and maintain open communication.

Safety, Operations & Administration

Lead crisis management efforts and ensure that school safety protocols are maintained and regularly reviewed.

Manage high school budgets, resources, and operational planning to ensure proper allocation and efficiency.

Oversee school administration, including scheduling, facility needs, and day-to-day operations of the high school division.

Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, state educational regulations, and internal school policies.

Community & Mission Alignment

Foster a school culture that reflects and advances the mission, vision, and core values of the institution.

Serve as a key liaison between the high school, parents, faculty, and school leadership.

Promote strong community engagement through clear communication, outreach, and relationship building.

Represent the high school at school-wide functions, parent meetings, and community events.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of school leadership experience, preferably at the high school level.

Demonstrated success in instructional leadership, staff development, and student support.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to provide spiritual leadership for the high school division by guiding employees through regular devotions, prayer, and ongoing spiritual support.
