Part-Time Laboratory Technician

The successful candidate will support ongoing research projects by performing a variety of cellular and molecular biology techniques and maintaining essential laboratory functions. This is a part‑time position ideal for someone with a strong scientific background and hands‑on lab experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
Proficiency and independence in molecular biology and cell‑based techniques
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
Competency in data processing and scientific presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Prior experience in a research lab setting is highly preferred
Job Duties
Perform cell culture, Western blotting, real‑time PCR, immunostaining, and tissue processing
Assist in general lab operations and maintenance, including inventory and ordering supplies
Maintain a well‑organized and accurate laboratory notebook
Analyze and present data using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Collaborate with faculty and student researchers to support experimental workflows
Location Campus: LMU Tower
