POSITION TITLE: Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic
DEPARTMENT: Field
LOCATION: Jacksonville, Florida
SALARY RANGE: $22 to $40 per hour
JOB NUMBER: 2025-1350-01
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for a Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic to support our long‑term project in Jacksonville, Florida.
The daily work will include:
Responsible for all phases of heavy construction equipment repair and overhaul
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Minimum five years’ prior work experience required on a variety of heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, off‑road haulers, and loaders.
Other job requirements include:
Ability to rebuild diesel and gasoline engines a plus
Must have valid driver’s license
SALARY/BENEFITS An employee’s salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications. Extensive company‑provided benefit package includes medical, dental, prescription, 401k, and pension plan.
