ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM
Our Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) rapidly responds 24/7 to requests for crisis interventions in the community. Referral sources include health care providers, family members, self-referral, police and other community member. Tasks include telephone triage, mobile crisis assessments, risk assessments, de-escalation, safety planning, working with EMS as needed, facilitating referrals to emergency department, community mental/substance abuse treatment and other linkages in the community.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes crisis assessments of adults who are in crisis in a comprehensive manner attending to their safety and needs. Includes co-response with law enforcement.
Develops treatment plans with and for the person in crisis that utilize community-based health, behavioral health, and social services that will ameliorate the presenting crisis.
Embraces and actively promotes an inclusive and equitable work environment.
Works with the person in crisis and their support network to fortify their strengths, coping skills and develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural support.
Assists the person in crisis with engagement or reengagement in needed.
Documents ongoing client progress.
Recognizes the importance of individual and cultural differences that influence behavior and applies such understanding and sensitivity to each person’s situation.
Maintains collaborative relationships with natural supports, other service providers and with members of the MCRT to accomplish the overall program’s mission.
Performs home, community based, and telephonic assessments.
Relates to clients, family members, and colleagues in a professional, and respectful manner.
Responsible for maintaining client and staff records according to agency policy.
Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program outcomes.
Maintains continuing professional education as required by licensure, professional standards and CHR policies.
Provides clinical supervision for graduate level interns.
Performs all other duties and projects as assigned by the Program Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master’s Degree or higher in mental health field.
Experience:
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation, safety planning, and provision of individual, group and family therapy.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a pressured situation and maintain clarity, focus, judgement, and compassion.
Flexibility and ability to work with people in crisis in a hopeful and compassionate manner. Ability to communicate concerns effectively to other team members and ask for help as needed. Ability to work independently.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
LCSW, LMFT, LPC, eligible. Associate License required. Full license preferred.

$60,496/minimum, and up commensurate upon experience (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives.
