Plastics Process Technician - 3rd Shift Butler, WI

Plastics Process Technician - 3rd Shift Butler, WI Under the direction of the Operations Technical Manager, the Process Technician will be responsible for set-up, start-up and shutdown of all molding machines and auxiliary equipment. The successful candidate will possess a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and the ability to use basic hand tools. This position requires the candidate to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining press efficiency and scrap reduction.

Responsibilities

Setup and startup of all molding machines in a safe and timely manner

Setup and maintain secondary and auxiliary equipment, including robots

Perform material and color changes

Perform screw clean and screw pull on molding machines

Perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters

Keep work area clean and orderly

Identify improvement ideas and make recommendations

Follow all safety policies and proactively engage in the safety of others

Follow ISO work instructions and guidelines

Assist and train other employees

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have previous experience in plastic set‑up or silicone molding.
