Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams from quoting to handoff to production using our sophisticated project management system.
Sound project organization skills.
Effective timeline management (MS Project, Gantt charts, etc).
Supplier management skills (mold makers, material suppliers).
Skillful project budget management (on time, on target).
Ability to review part designs (draft, side actions, basics).
Qualifications
Several years of experience in leading projects in plastics manufacturing.
Understanding of injection mold tooling, including mold features due to part geometry, mold construction basics (can review mold designs).
Medical molding experience.
Silicone molding (LSR/LIM) experience.
Understanding of good manufacturing processes and advanced quality planning (APQP) with a working knowledge of DOEs, capability studies, and automation concepts.
Knowledge of the relative cost impact of options and ability to choose the best option.
