General Maintenance Mechanic (Maintenance) Dae Sung, LLC is currently seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic to provide operations and mechanical maintenance in Highgate Springs, VT (Federal Building). Hourly pay rate is $32.00 per hour. This full-time union position offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays and a pension plan in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Working schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm; on call after hours.

Key Responsibilities

Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.

Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.

Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.

Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks.

Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.

Hanging doors and installing locks.

Replacing broken window panes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Preferred Experience

Commercial HVAC repair and maintenance of mechanical building systems including PMs, routine service calls, and overall facility maintenance.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years’ experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

High School Diploma/GED required.

Willingness to obtain Underground Storage Tank Certificate.
