About the Company We are looking for a reliable and personable receptionist for our client, a locally owned tax service company that prides itself on providing reliable, professional, and personable service to our clients. The office can be fast‑paced during tax season, and we’re looking for a receptionist who stays organized, calm, and customer‑focused even when things get busy.
Position Overview The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in keeping daily office operations running smoothly. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients in person and over the phone in a professional, friendly manner
Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments
Collect and process client payments accurately
Maintain client records and basic administrative documentation
Communicate effectively with tax preparers and office staff
Manage incoming calls, messages, and general inquiries
Keep the front office organized and running efficiently
What We’re Looking For
Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
Experience handling payments and basic financial transactions
Experience with scheduling, calendars, and appointment coordination
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and punctual
Preferred (Not Required)
Previous experience working with CPAs, tax services, or financial offices
Familiarity with tax season workflows and deadlines
