Workers’ Compensation Paralegal

to join our

Orlando office .

About The Role In this role, you’ll work closely with attorneys handling a high‑volume caseload of workers’ compensation matters. We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented paralegal who understands the unique demands of workers’ comp defense and can take initiative in moving cases forward.

Responsibilities

Prepare and respond to discovery, subpoenas, and medical authorizations

Organize and summarize medical records; draft chronologies and reports

Maintain case files and assist in trial preparation

Schedule depositions, mediations, IMEs, and client meetings

File documents with DOAH and manage e‑filing portals

Draft correspondence to clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel

Monitor deadlines and assist with calendaring

Perform other litigation support tasks as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in Florida workers’ compensation defense

Familiarity with DOAH procedures and e‑filing systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management software

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities

Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Paralegal certificate a plus
