Base pay range $19.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pull customer orders as ordered on picking list document.

Load freight onto trucks.

Obtain and record weights and dimensions for custom products.

Accurately key all inventory transactions.

Drive the company vehicle to local suppliers to pick up and drop off products.

Assist in pulling raw materials and delivering to the production mini marts.

Expedite delivery of re-cut material to the production areas.

Determine shipping method for materials, using third party logistics software and knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped and file paperwork according to process.

Assemble paperwork for appropriate customer orders prior to ensuring the team member has all documents needed to pull and stage the order.

Assist in counting the physical inventory.

Verify product quantities and labeling in the receiving area.

Generate the bill of lading for every outgoing truck shipment.

Process small parcel shipments using UPS or FedEx software.

Generate and distribute picking orders to the warehouse team members.

Coordinate selection and staging of shipments.

Create labels and packing lists on the computer for each customer order. Verifies the accuracy of each printed label, ensures each package in the order has a label printed. Provides correct labels to the team member that will affix the labels to the packages for shipment.

Coordinate multiple shipping sites in various states to help service drop shipments.

Work cooperatively with all team members to achieve common goals, communicate effectively, and share information, and resources appropriately.

Arrange for pickup of customer returns. Communicate the pickup information with sales representatives and customers via email.

Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.

Other Responsibilities

Mandated to work all hours needed to complete annual company inventory.

Ability to work overtime as needed; shift is over when work is completed for the day.

Other duties as assigned by Management and Supervision.

Education / Experience Prefer high school graduate or GED. Prefer a minimum of one (1) year related work experience or proven ability.

Specific Job Skills Required

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Frequent walking, cervical and torso twisting, reaching, handling/grasping, keyboarding.

Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs., kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, standing and driving.

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

Relationship and Roles

This position will report to the Logistics Value Stream Leader.

This position will interact with all levels of employees, truck line representatives, customers, vendors, and others as needed.

Work Environment / Safety Climate controlled environment. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This job may require the wearing of a variety of PPE that will be provided to the employee. If PPE is necessary, the employee will be mandated to wear it.
