Night Stocker – Grocery or Drug Store
We need hard‑working, night‑owl Partners who can keep our nighttime crews on track to keep H‑E‑B shelves stocked and organized while everyone else is asleep. Your energy and stamina are what keep our nighttime crews on track.
Responsibilities
Work overnight hours as part of a team in the Grocery or Drug Store department.
Stock shelves, refill displays, load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products; may unload trucks.
Condition shelves and products, apply product knowledge (e.g., rotation dates, shelf/label info) to help the department meet A+ standards.
Keep the department clean and well‑organized, including back room and shelves.
Follow and execute established standard operating procedures and leader direction.
Ensure federal, state, and company regulations for product food safety and sanitation are met.
Maintain productivity standards and work efficiently with a team attitude.
Take constructive feedback well and apply learning to future tasks.
May coach or train other stockers.
Customer Service
Operate with a team mindset and often work cross‑functionally within the Store.
Build relationships across departments, such as Curbside.
Learns and models customer service and hospitality with customers and store partners.
Assists customers in locating product and answering product questions.
Desired Qualities
Willness to work as part of a team and get the job done.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping eye on details.
Initiative to work hard and a sense of urgency.
Qualifications / Experience
Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
Experience stocking and customer service (preferred).
Experience in a physically demanding job (plus).
Forklift / power jack training (provided upon hire).
