Job Overview
We are looking for a Mechanic B to perform mechanical, electrical and utility maintenance tasks, support continuous improvement, train junior technicians, and maintain high safety and GMP standards.
This position works day shift: 7 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday. Must have basic proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs across facility equipment
Support root cause analysis and problem‑solving projects
Clean, inspect and repair facility HVAC, plumbing, etc.
Monitor and maintain plant systems (boilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.)
Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues
Assist with emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance
Train and support lower‑level technicians
Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
5+ years of maintenance experience
Construction, HVAC, or electrical background or technical school preferred
Working knowledge of CMMS strongly recommended
Able to lift up to 50 lb and move throughout your shift
Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
Skills
Comfortable using CMMS and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience with SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Advanced math and reading skills
Able to read blueprints and create rough sketches
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machine‑shop equipment
Knowledge of electrical testing tools and mechanical systems
Team‑oriented, dependable, and self‑motivated
Willing to learn and adapt to changing tasks
Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $32.15–$33.11 (approx.). Compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills and geographic location.
Benefits include 401(k) with company match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits.
Other Details Employee referral bonus: $750.
