Summary
In your job role as an IT Senior BSA, you will review, analyze, and evaluate user needs and systems experiences to document, design, customize, and advise on building solutions that support overall business strategies and improve quality, efficiency for processes and understanding the use of existing or new systems. The IT Business Systems Analyst acts as a liaison between technical staff and users to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of impacted systems and reporting. The Senior BSA role is a liaison between technical staff and stakeholders to implement and maximize the use of mortgage and reporting systems, within the technology department. You’ll deliver strategic project implementations following the business and technical road maps, alongside business, technical and vendor teams while partnering with Product, Security, and Operations teams. You will own the project request scoping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder review of enhancements and new systems. You should have a solid understanding of technical project workflows, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving attitude in a mortgage technology business environment. Base salary: $ 95,000–$130,000 annually Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Participation and Implementation
Follow established procedures as it relates to project management process and SDLC. Act as a subject matter expert on software and processes, including development of new system fields, automation, system macros/validations, and process improvements. Participate in daily stand-ups or other organized meetings and provide informative, proactive, and meaningful updates on current projects. Engage Stakeholders to advise on project clarifications, recommendations, updates, provide and receive input, and relay next steps. Participate in supporting, building, and utilizing data management platforms such as Domo and Boomi. Act as an Enterprise Data SME, which includes extensive data mapping activities Work with data development team to maintain and normalize data SQL query and relational database familiarity and experience a plus Build and analyze technical requirements and design solutions in order to effectively provide solutions for the business in regard to optimizing the user experience in the systems and reporting. Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively, including support of reporting and application issues. Create/maintain effective system and process documentation. Deliver projects and assignments according to estimated schedules determined during project planning and implementation. Monitor, collect and assemble data from multiple sources to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations and actionable data . Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions based on data. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on concurrent projects. Mortgage Servicing experience preferred 3–5+ years in technical business analysis success, from small to enterprise level implementation, including but not limited to; building technical business requirements, analyzing process workflows in and outside of systems, reporting, data analysis, application support, technical project implementation.. 3–5+ year’s experience in a technical project management (Agile/Kanban) environment; with service and project management application integrations for project management processes , including but not limited to Agile, waterfall, JIT, Kanban methodologies. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication; able to drive task clarity, completion and decision-making with technical and operational stakeholders. Familiarity with mixed software environments Cloud-based/SaaS and desktop applications. Advanced knowledge of Excel; formulas, pivots, macros preferred. Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports, and/or other database reporting tools is a plus. Experience with MS Office tools to enable documentation, visualization, communication; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Project Processes & Coordination
Support review, management, prioritization, communication and approval with stakeholders, of projects including updates on projects’ status, engaging user feedback, understanding and addressing any issues that arise. Participate in and drive completion of assigned project tasks, ensuring process and systems documentation are followed. Maintain internal and external project SLAs with team and stakeholders.
