We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The RN will provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients’ cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in condition. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly addressing abnormalities.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
C urrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience working in a telemetry or cardiac care unit.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Advanced training in cardiac care or critical care nursing.
Certifications (if any)
Adv anced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
