We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac status throughout procedures
Administer medications and assist physicians during interventions
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Strong knowledge of cardiac care and hemodynamic monitoring
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology unit
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Certifications (if any)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
Note: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
