JOB DESCRIPTION Seeking a highly motivated and driven
Oracle Database Administrator
to work
Hybrid
supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and administer Oracle 19c database software instances, and schemas (on-prem/AWS Cloud) in a classified environment
Create/troubleshoot/manage databases, schemas, and user accounts/roles/permissions
Utilize Command line experience with SQL Developer and/or Toad
Maintain database software in accordance with all applicable security requirements, i.e. DoD STIGs
Manage schema objects such as tables, indexes, and views
Configure database backups in accordance with customer requirements
Perform database recoveries, usinc datapump export and RMAN integrated into Rubrik,as required
Perform daily checks of databases, backups, exports, jobs, and storage, taking preventive or corrective actions, as required
Manage storage structures of the database
Monitoring and tuning database performance
REQUIREMENTS
3 years of Oracle 19c database administration (installation, configuration, upgrading, performance tuning) experience
Experience performing database recoveries, usinc datapump export and RMAN integrated into Rubrik
Experience with UNIX (RHEL or Solaris)
Experience with Command line with SQL Developer and/or Toad
Experience with performance tuning
Experience setting up and configuring Amazon RDS database instances
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)
CompTIA Security+
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Active Secretwith ability to obtain a Top SecretSecurity Clearance
EDUCATION
BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an Information Technology or AA/AS Degree and 7 years of related experience, or High School Diploma with 9 years of related experience

COMPENSATION The likely salary range for this position is $135,200 - $178,880 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Rollout Systems offers a variety of benefits including health insurance with domestic partner coverage, company-funded health savings account and life and disability insurances, 401(k) matching, 401(k) profit-sharing, education assistance, paid time off, and paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, location, and schedule type.
