Role Overview: OB/GYN at Legacy Community Health

Join us as an innovative OB/GYN where your expertise will significantly contribute to transforming community healthcare in Southeast Texas. This opportunity places you at the forefront of providing comprehensive health care services across our expansive network of nearly 60 clinics, all dedicated to the diverse needs of thriving communities in Houston, Baytown, Beaumont, and Deer Park.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complete physical exams and document findings meticulously to provide accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to manage both acute and chronic healthcare needs of patients.
  • Synthesize health data to establish diagnoses and therapeutic plans, emphasizing preventive healthcare approaches.
  • Administer medications and injections, ensuring precision and patient safety.
  • Perform suturing for minor lacerations with expert care.
  • Educate patients and their families on medication and treatment plans, fostering informed participation in health management.
  • Deliver comprehensive patient education tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain, review, and accurately update patient records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Post-test and examination results with precision for consistent patient follow-up and care continuity.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS coding and managed care, participating in ongoing training as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN with verifiable credentials.
  • Possess an unrestricted medical license, allowing practice in the state of Texas.
