Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Midwife -OB/GYN Opportunity at Legacy Community Health.
Location: Pasadena, TX

Join us at Legacy Community Health as a pivotal force in transforming community healthcare. As an outpatient OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Licensed Midwife, you'll be integral to our mission within the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in South Texas. This role doesn't just offer a chance to enhance your professional journey and skills; it is also eligible for Loan Repayment Assistance.

Your work will empower women within the community by providing comprehensive medical care through evaluation, treatment, and management. You'll focus on women's health, particularly regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive conditions, whilst occasionally extending care to encompass general female health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional medical care related to pregnancy and childbirth, enhancing the well-being of our community's women.
  • Diagnose, treat, and provide preventive measures for diseases affecting the female reproductive system.
  • Administer general healthcare for women, ensuring a holistic approach to their health requirements.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to elevate the community's healthcare standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to incorporate the latest healthcare innovations and practices.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a program from an accredited Nursing or Physician Assistant school.
  • Current licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing or Texas Physician Assistant Board.
  • Active DEA certification to practice or willingness to obtain a DEA.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the OB/GYN field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, to better serve our diverse patient demographic.
