About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: Day and weekend shifts
- Schedule: Flexible schedule with 12 shifts per month required
- Hours: Varies by shift
- Setting: Urgent care facility
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing quality care in an urgent care setting
- Performing procedures such as suturing and wound care
- Managing 20-30 patients per shift
- Collaborating with providers, nursing staff, and medical assistants
- Utilizing the EPIC EMR system for documentation
- Providing emergency care as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency settings
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Massachusetts
- Current DEA and CSR certifications
- Proficiency in clinical procedures like suturing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience with EMR systems
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Candidates must be ready to start in September or early October and possess the ability to undergo credentialing within 60 days.
