As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control Driver in Pontiac, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. - Control access to the location by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following established procedures.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and assisting with directions and information as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance issues as required by site policies.
- Follow site-specific policies and procedures to support the security-related needs of a manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency protocols.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
