We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects throughout California. This role is ideal for a hands‑on field leader with strong big box and retail experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and on budget.
What You Will Do
Oversee all on-site construction activities for ground-up big box and retail projects
Manage daily jobsite operations, subcontractors, and field crews
Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, schedules, and safety standards
Coordinate inspections, inspections sign‑offs, and local jurisdiction requirements
Maintain project schedules and proactively resolve field issues
Enforce site safety programs and lead by example
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, and inspectors
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects
Strong background in big box and retail construction required
Proven ability to manage fast-paced schedules and multiple trades
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Knowledge of California building codes and jobsite safety standards
Willingness to travel within California as projects require
Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level
