KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice. Responsibilities
Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transactions processes including controls related to Federal entities Review and evaluate Federal financial business processes and financial statements Support project lifecycles to include assisting with scope definition, business case development, vendor assessment, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, testing, training, and implementation phases Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services Contribute to design, preparation, and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner Qualifications
A minimum of one year of federal financial management / transformation experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Experience in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements / documents for U.S. Federal government entities Experience with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements Initial project will be located in the St. Louis, MO region, requires daily on-site presence Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Consulting We offer a comprehensive, competitive benefits package, with options designed to help you make the best decisions for yourself, your family, and your lifestyle.
