What You’ll Do As the Accounting Operations Specialist, you will be the engine room of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy across the property lifecycle. Your day-to-day will include:
Revenue Management: Posting monthly rent rolls in Yardi, distributing invoices, and applying receipts accurately.
Accounts Payable: Utilizing Yardi Payscan to code and process vendor transactions, property tax bills, and utility payments.
Treasury & Banking: Initiating ACH/wire transactions and completing monthly bank reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly AR updates for the Senior Accounting Manager and assisting Senior Accountants with monthly construction draw packages.
Vendor Relations: Managing onboarding and W-9 collections to ensure a seamless partner experience.
Tech Stack: You will primarily utilize Yardi (Full Service Payscan/P2P) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Teams) to drive efficiency and process improvement.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
You have 2+ years of accounting experience, specifically within commercial real estate, development, or construction.
You have a strong understanding of GL processes and are proficient in Excel. Yardi experience is a significant plus.
You have a "measure twice, cut once" mentality and can prioritize projects based on tight deadlines.
Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience).
Bonus: 10% annual performance-based bonus.
